Resumo: This work aims to develop furniture based on the understanding of affective and meaningful relationships between the artifact and the user. The study addresses the configuration aspects of the product and the emotional aspects that involve an interaction between man and his artifacts. Then, it presents preliminary studies that supported the preparation of an armchair, relating the identity and territoriality of the state of Paraná, meeting an affective and functional demand.
