The objective of this article is to analyze the participation of women in the positions of climate negotiations that take place in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), with a focus on monitoring women's participation in the offices and delegations of the Convention in the period between 2013 and 2018. The purpose will be to analyze the participation of women in climate negotiations, taking into account the gender-inclusive measures developed by the Convention itself at the annual meetings of the Parties. For this analysis, the research uses primary and secondary sources, with emphasis on the official UNFCCC documents, as well as the specialized literature on the gender debate, with contributions by Neumayer and Plümper (2007) and Hemmati and Röhr (2009) with a theoretical introduction on women in the trading environment.
