Riqueza e aspectos da biologia de Calliphoridae (Diptera: Muscomorpha) de potencial importância forense na região urbana de Uberlândia.

Several species of the Calliphoridae family (Diptera) are associated with the anthropic environment and are of great medical-sanitary and forensic importance. The present study had as objective to obtain information about the community of flies belonging to the family Calliphoridae synanthropic and aspects of the biology of these flies. Four traps were used with baits of different swine tissues (brain, liver, intestine, muscle and lung) to attract flies. The traps were exposed in a space that the ground is covered by batatais grasses: Paspalum natatum fluegge and scattered trees, next to buildings of the Umuarama campus, at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). A total of 640 individuals belonging to six species of Calliphoridae were collected. The baits / substrates were taken to the Laboratory of Entomology of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of UFU to follow the oviposts performed by the flies until the emergence of adults. 438 individuals belonging to 4 species of Calliphoridae emerged. Chrysomya albiceps was the most abundant species among those attracted and Lucilia cuprina the most abundant among servants. The present study shows that different swine tissues / organs can be colonized by one or more species of californidae and the rate of development of the species that use them as breeding substrates may vary in each of them.
