The present work intends to report the artist / aesthetic object / society, starting from the alterity as a way to reach the subjectivity. For this purpose, between 2017 and 2018, I make a sequence of happenings named O pão que o Artista Amassou (The Bread that the Artist Kneaded), from which I explore my ways and conditions as an artist, which is presented in daily life, in the ordinary, in my experiences and aspirations. With this, I present how my father's yearnings permeate my existence and how I perpetuate these affections in my knowledge construction. In my creation process I make a dough, bake and package it. Then, dressed as a baker, I talk to the passers-by from different spaces and give them the package. Through the questions 'What bread offers - and feeds - the artist?', 'Is bread and the subject that produces it a fiction or invention of possible worlds?', I dialogue with the authors Bourriaud, Rancière, Versiani, Deleuze and Guattari, with the collective Fillet of Fish and artists like Paul Bruscky, Claire Bishop, Wolney Fernandes de Oliveira and Ricardo Basbaum to weave routes this action through what we are commonplace to shake our obvious truths and work in the real cracks in your possibilities. Thus, I reflect on my own social, historical and identity insertion.
