The present work has as concem to present the historical and perspectives of the existent Rural Nucleadas Schools in the municipal district of Catalão, as well as problems that involve the rural schools in a general way discussing as: means of transportation, the municipalização of the teaching, the need to create curricula that come to assist the rural population and the need of respecting the culture farmer in the located schools in the rural environment. The Rural Nucleadas Schools constitute a differentiated model of rural school once it breaks up with the model of isolated school, providing for the rural clientele best physical and human conditions. However, it is veiy important the discussion of the rural schools as well as the challenges to create a rural school, that comes to assist the specificities of the field. This work approaches these subjects in a perspective of raising the discussion regarding the rural schools in a general way and of the Rural Nucleadas schools in matter not with the pretension of starting from this study to point Solutions to these schools, but in the perspective of documenting the reality of this study object.
