PERFORMANCE OF THE “IRRIGÂMETRO” AND METHODS TO ESTIMATE THE EVAPOTRANSPIRATION OF REFERENCE FOR THE GUANAMBI-BA CITY

Resumo: | The objective of this work was to evaluate the performance of the Irrigameter and methods to estimate the evapotranspiration of reference, with the method of Penman-Monteith - FAO 56. To the estimate of the ET0 by empirical methods it was obtained climatic data of an automatic meteorological station installed in the Campus of the Federal Institute of Bahia, located in the city of Guanambi - BA. To estimate the ET0 through Irrigameter, it was used six equipments with levels of water within the evaporation pot equal to 3 and 4 cm, which took place in the daily readings of evaporated lamina water. To compare the values of ET0 measured in Irrigameter with those estimated by empirical equations with the standard method Penman-Monteith (FAO56) it was considered the parameters of the regression equation (a and b), the determination coefficient (r²), the estimative of standard error (EEP), the index of agreement (d), index of confidence or performance (c). The best methods to estimate evapotranspiration of reference were: Radiation - FAO 24, Modified Penman - FAO 24 and Irrigameter operating with equal water level to 3 cm. |

Para estimativa da ET0 por meio dos métodos empíricos foram obtidos dados climáticos de uma estação meteorológica automática instalada no Campus do Instituto Federal da Bahia, localizado no município de Guanambi – BA. Para estimar a ET0 através do Irrigâmetro, foram usados seis equipamentos, com níveis de água dentro do evaporatório iguais a 3 e 4 cm, no qual foram feitas leituras diárias da lâmina de água evaporada. Para comparar os valores de ET0 medidos no Irrigâmetro com os estimados pelas equações empíricas, com os do método padrão Penman-Monteith – FAO 56 foram considerados os parâmetros da equação de regressão (a e b), o coeficiente de determinação (r²), a estimativa do erro padrão (EEP), o índice de concordância (d) e o índice de confiança ou desempenho (c).
