Resumo: The knowledge of the variability of soil chemical attributes is very important for an efficient management with a view to better production of crops. This study aimed to evaluate the variability and the linear and spatial correlations between winter bean yield attributes with chemical attributes of an typic Oxisol Haplorthox in no-tillage system (NTS), in Mato Grosso do Sul Cerrado region. For this installed a sampling grid to collect soil and plant data, with 124 points, in an area of 4000 m2. Soil attributes were: phosphorus (P), organic matter (OM), and pH (pH), determined in the depths of 0 - 0.10 m and 0.10 m - 0.20 m. It evaluated the simple correlations and multiple between the attributes of plants with soil attributes with later dependence analysis and correlation. The bean yield (BY) showed a direct linear correlation with organic matter (MO2) and soil pH (pH1). Spatially, the exception of MO1 and pH1, the other attributes presented spatial dependence. From a practical point of view of soil management, the pH (pH 2) stood out as a appreciable indicator of chemical quality with the management purpose of specific areas for the conditions of the study area.
