LATERAL QUANTIFICATION OF WETTED SOIL VOLUME AND SUPERFICIAL AREA ON SUBSURFACE DRIP IRRIGATION

Resumo: This research had as objective to quantifying the time and water surface irrigation so that the front of progress wetted soil volume reach the walls lateral and superficial soil, as well evaluating the increment of wet superficial area, about subsurface irrigation. For the study, soil columns were built in glass vats and in them installed one drip to 0.25 m of depth, with flow of 1.35 L h-1 and pressure of service of 147 kPa. The experimental design was completely randomized, the treatments was front directions of progress of wetted soil volume (two continuous and two opposed, to the dripline), in function of the time (h) and irrigation levels accumulated (mm). It was possible to verify that the time and irrigations levels were larger for the position contrary to the point of incision of drip and smaller for the continuous positions; already to reach the soil surface it was smaller comparing with the front of lateral progress, existing variation of the format of the area, of irregular the close of a sphere with the increase of the time and the irrigation levels.

Dessa forma, realizou-se este trabalho objetivando quantificar o tempo e a lâmina de irrigação aplicada para que a frente de avanço do bulbo úmido alcance as paredes laterais e a superfície de colunas de solo, assim como o incremento da área superficial molhada por gotejamento subsuperficial. Foram construídas colunas de solo e neles instaladas um gotejador a 0,15 m de profundidade e a 0,25 m equidistante dos extremos laterais, com vazão de 1,35 L h-1 e pressão de serviço de 147 kPa. Foi utilizado o delineamento experimental inteiramente causalizado com quatro repetições e os tratamentos foram quatro direções da frente de avanço do bulbo úmido (duas contínuas e duas opostas, ao tubo gotejador), em função do tempo (h) e lâmina de irrigação acumuladas (mm). Conclui-se que o tempo e a lâmina foram maiores para a posição contrária ao ponto de incisão do gotejador (5,614 h e 30,315 mm) e menores para as posições contínuas (5,198 h e 28,067 mm). Para atingir a superfície de solo, o tempo e a lâmina foram menores (1,909 h e 8,958 mm) quando comparados a todas as frentes de avanço laterais (5,406 h e 29,191mm).
