Resumo: | The work presents an evaluation of the performance of Polylactic Acid (PLA) and Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) in test specimens produced by additive manufacturing (3D printing) with controlled defects, aiming to assess how different geometries of these defects affect mechanical properties. Through experimental design and statistical analysis, the influence of defect geometry and material on the evaluated mechanical properties was confirmed. |

Through experimental design and statistical analysis, the influence of defect geometry and material on the evaluated mechanical properties was confirmed.O trabalho apresenta uma avaliação do desempenho do Poliácido Láctico (PLA) e Acrilonitrila-Butadieno-Estireno (ABS) em corpos de provas produzidos por processo de manufatura aditiva (impressão 3D) com defeitos controlados, visando verificar como diferentes geometrias desses defeitos afetam as propriedades mecânicas. A partir do planejamento de experimentos e análise estatística realizada, confirmou-se a influência da geometria desses defeitos e do material nas propriedades mecânicas avaliadas.
