Urban climate and noise pollution: a review of the literature from the integrated approach

Resumo: Urban expansion without planning compromises environmental quality, including thermal and acoustic fields. This research provides an overview of the scientific production on urban climate and noise pollution, which are often studied in isolation. Through searches of scientific databases, selection and analysis of articles, there was a shortage of works with an integrated approach. The need for work that relates the numerous environmental aspects, aiming at healthy cities, is highlighted.
