Political, economic and social extractivism in the Amazon: the legacy of exploitation and democratic marginalization of the amazon people

Resumo: This article seeks to analyse the existence and the origins of political, economic, and social extractivism in the Amazon, relating it to the marginalization of minorities in the city of Manaus. It aims to analyse whether it is correct to affirm that there is full democracy in Brazil, by citing authors who treat the topic, by approaching the concepts of democracy, extractivism, and inclusive institutions, and the coalitional presidentialism, in order to relate such topics with a national and regional Amazonian historical context. Therefore, through bibliographic research using the inductive approach, it was possible to affirm that extractivism institutions persist until nowadays in a vicious exploitation circle, which demonstrates that there is no full democracy in Brazil.

Therefore, through bibliographic research using the inductive approach, it was possible to affirm that extractivism institutions persist until nowadays in a vicious exploitation circle, which demonstrates that there is no full democracy in Brazil.O presente artigo busca trazer para a academia a existência e as origens do extrativismo político, econômico e social na Região Amazônica, relacionando-o com a marginalização de minorias na Cidade de Manaus, de modo a abordar, como problema de pesquisa, se é correto afirmar que se vive uma democracia plena no Brasil, fazendo a interseção entre autores que tratam do tema, abordando os conceitos de democracia, instituições extrativistas e inclusivas, e o presidencialismo de coalizão, buscando relacioná-los dentro de um contexto histórico nacional e regional amazônico.
