Resumo: The study aims to comprehend the relationship between actuarial criminal policy and biopolitics as instruments of segregation and neutralization of certain social groups, which, based on acturial prognoses, are considered risk groups. The study aimed to analyse what actuarial policy and biopolitics control mechanisms consists of and how they operate. Using analytical and interpretative methodology, it was possible to identify the effects of managerialism, its influence on social control articulated by biopower and, finally, verify that acturial policy occurs as an instrumentalization of biopolitical mechanisms for social hygiene.

Buscou-se analisar em que consiste e como se dá a política atuarial e os mecanismos de controle da biopolítica.
