Resumo: | The extension curriculum enables the preparation of resources for their performance in the job market, from the performance of extension activities in the subjects of the course's curricular matrix. The objective of the study was to promote a workshop as an extension curriculum demonstrating how to obtain the secondary C. arborea extract and use it as a bioherbicide, since the metabolites can be used as substitutes found in the species for synthetic herbicides. The workshop outline with two moments being the first essay in a dialogic way about what are allelochemicals and their effect on plants and which of these substances are found in the species under study. The moment was practical, where the students all together the stages of the experiment from the production to the extract and the interpretation of the data. It was verified that the extract of C. arborea improved the germination of C., thus confirming its bioherbicidal effect. |

El objetivo del estudio fue promover un taller como currículo de extensión demostrando cómo obtener el extracto secundario de C. arborea y utilizarlo como bioherbicida, ya que los metabolitos pueden ser utilizados como sustitutos que se encuentran en la especie para herbicidas sintéticos. El taller se esquematiza con dos momentos siendo el primero un ensayo de forma dialógica sobre qué son los aleloquímicos y su efecto en las plantas y cuáles de estas sustancias se encuentran en las especies en estudio. El momento fue práctico, donde los alumnos repasaron todas las etapas del experimento desde la producción hasta la extracción e interpretación de los datos. Se comprobó que el extracto de C. arborea mejoró la germinación de C., confirmando así su efecto bioherbicida.A curricularização da extensão possibilita a preparação dos acadêmicos para sua atuação no mercado de trabalho, a partir da realização das atividades de extensão nas disciplinas da matriz curricular do curso. O objetivo do estudo foi promover uma oficina como curricularização da extensão demonstrando como obter o extrato da C. arborea e usá-lo como bioherbicida, uma vez que metabólitos secundários encontrados na espécie podem ser utilizados como substitutos para os herbicidas sintéticos. A oficina contou com dois momentos sendo o primeiro teórico de maneira dialogada sobre o que são aleloquímicos e seu efeito nas plantas e qual dessas substâncias se encontra na espécie em estudo. O segundo momento foi prático, onde os alunos realizaram todas as etapas do experimento desde a produção do extrato até avaliação e interpretação dos dados.
