Resumo: This study aimed to report the experience of nursing students in running a group on WhatsApp to motivate healthy behaviors and adherence to treatment, among people with high blood pressure, during the covid-19 pandemic. This experience took place between July and December 2021. In a social network group, images, videos and audios were sent about healthy habits and different aspects related to high blood pressure. Meetings took place every 15 days via Google Meet, lasting an average of 40 minutes. 23 people diagnosed with high blood pressure participated in the extension project. Of these, 20 (87%) were female and three (13%) were male. Online meetings and information submissions, which took place through digital platforms, were considered important tools used by the team to continue health education care, which can be intensified today.
