Resumo: | Environmental Education seeks to establish a positive relationship between people and the environment thereby, it encourages students to rethink their attitudes and provides the necessary tools for understanding nature. Thus, this article aims to evaluate ecological awareness before and after the action of the Vagão Sustentável Project at a school in Teófilo Otoni-MG. The strategy used was through a set of activities applied in a dynamic, creative and playful way, in addition to applying questionnaires before and after the intervention. With the results, it was possible to process the data and conclude that most students have a certain knowledge of the subject, and when it comes to knowing what nature is, 91.94% said they knew, 91.53% said they liked it and 80.95% answered that they talked to their parents about it. Therefore, actions like this one are extremely important, as they seek to validate the environmental education process. |

Therefore, actions like this one are extremely important, as they seek to validate the environmental education process.La Educación Ambiental busca establecer una relación positiva entre las personas y el medio ambiente, animando así a los alumnos a repensar sus actitudes y proporciona las herramientas necesarias para la comprensión de la naturaleza. En este sentido, este artículo tiene como objetivo realizar la conciencia ecológica antes y después de la acción del Proyecto Vagón Sostenible en una escuela en Teófilo Otoni-MG. La estrategia utilizada consistía en un conjunto de actividades aplicadas de forma dinámica, creativa y lúdica, además de la aplicación de cuestionarios antes y después de la intervención. Con los resultados, se pudieron tratar los datos y concluir que la mayoría de los alumnos tiene conocimiento sobre el tema, y cuanto a saber qué es la naturaleza, el 91,94% dijo conocerla, el 91,53% dijo que le gustaba y el 80,95% % respondió que hablaba con sus padres al respecto. Así, acciones como la realizada son sumamente importantes, ya que buscan validar el proceso de educación ambiental.A educação ambiental busca estabelecer uma relação positiva entre as pessoas e o meio ambiente, dessa forma, ela estimula os alunos a repensarem suas atitudes e proporciona ferramentas necessárias para que haja compreensão acerca da natureza. Nesse sentido, este artigo tem por objetivo realizar a conscientização ecológica antes e após a ação do Projeto Vagão Sustentável em uma escola em Teófilo Otoni-MG. A estratégia utilizada foi por meio de um conjunto de atividades aplicadas de forma dinâmica, criativa e lúdica, além da aplicação de questionários antes e após a intervenção. Com os resultados, foi possível tratar os dados e concluir que a maioria dos alunos tem domínio sobre o tema, e se tratando de saber o que é natureza 91,94% responderam que sabiam, 91,53% responderam que gostavam dela e 80,95% responderam que falavam com os pais sobre a mesma.
