A regi?o do Alto Jequitinhonha, mais precisamente o munic?pio de Datas-MG, ? uma grande produtora de morangos, entretanto, assim como em outras regi?es produtoras da cultura, o munic?pio ? dependente de cultivares oriundas de outros pa?ses. Deste modo, a fim de se estabelecer um programa de melhoramento para a cultura do morangueiro, objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar a diversidade gen?tica de cultivares de morango j? utilizadas na regi?o de Datas-MG, por meio de vari?veis agron?micas, p?s-colheita e moleculares; al?m de estabelecer c efetuar cruzamentos entre as cultivares e realizar a quebra de dorm?ncia dos aqu?nios, a fim de se obter prog?nies. Foram utilizadas as cultivares Camarosa, Dover, Festival, Oso Grande e Tudla, sendo estas de dia curto e as cultivares Aromas, Monterey e San Andreas, de dia neutro. No primeiro experimento foi poss?vel observar que, apesar de haver diverg?ncia gen?tica entre as caracter?sticas agron?micas, p?s colheita e moleculares, nas tr?s an?lises realizadas n?o se obteve a forma??o dos mesmos grupos, entretanto, os tr?s conjuntos de caracter?sticas serviram como base para os cruzamentos entre as cultivares. No segundo experimento foi poss?vel observar que, no pr?-teste, a imers?o dos aqu?nios em ?cido sulf?rico na concentra??o de 98% por 10 minutos, possibilitou uma melhor efici?ncia na quebra de dorm?ncia dos aqu?nios da cultivar San Andreas. Foram obtidos um total de 7.397 aqu?nios dos cruzamentos realizados entre as cultivares. O cruzamento entre as cultivares Tudla x Dover obtiveram o maior n?mero de aqu?nios (597). A quebra de dorm?ncia dos aqu?nios provenientes dos cruzamentos possibilitou a obten??o de 597 mudas no total Os cruzamentos entre as cultivares Tudla x Dover, Festival x Aromas e Oso Grande x Festival, foram os que obtiveram o maior n?mero de mudas.Submitted by Jos? The Alto Jequitinhonha region, more precisely the municipality of Datas-MG, is a major producer of strawberries, however, as well as im other regions producing the crop, the municipality is dependent on cultivars from other countries. Thus, in order to establish a breeding program for strawberry cultivation, the objective of this work was to evaluate the genetic diversity of strawberry cultivars already used in the region of Datas-MG, through agronomic variables, post-harvest and molecular; in addition to establishing and making crosses between cultivars and breaking dormancy of achenres, in order to obtain progenies. The cultivars Camarosa, Dover, Festival, Oso Grande and Tudla were used, these being short-day and the cultivars Aromas, Monterey and San Andreas, neutral-day. In the first experiment it was possible to observe that, despite the genetic divergence between the agronomic, post-harvest and molecular characteristics, in the three analyzes performed, the formation of the same groups was not obtained, however, the three sets of characteristics served as a basis for the crosses between the cultivars. In the second experiment it was possible to observe that, in the pre-test, the immersion of the achenes in sulfuric acid at a concentration of 98% for 10 minutes, enabled a better efficiency in breaking dormancy of the achenes of the cultivar San Andreas. A total of 7.397 achenes from crosses between cultivars were obtained. The crossing between cultivars Tudla x Dover obtained the highest number of achenes (597).
