Sendo assim, esse trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a capacidade de ?cidos h?micos (AH) isolados de vermicomposto amenizarem o estresse salino em pl?ntulas de tomateiro (Solanum lycopersicum L. cv. Micro-Tom) em dois gen?tipos diferentes, Wild type (WT) e em seu mutante hormonal para etileno (Never ripe, Nr). Para tanto foi realizado o cultivo das plantas em sistema hidrop?nico (vasos de Leonard) constitu?do de solu??o de Hoagland ? for?a i?nica com a presen?a ou n?o de AH e NaCl. A princ?pio foi desenvolvido um experimento em que pl?ntulas de MT foram testadas quanto ao seu crescimento inicial, onde os tratamentos constaram de aplica??es de AH em seis concentra??es: 0, 25, 50, 100, 200 e 400 mg L-? e um controle mantido somente com solu??o nutritiva. Foram realizadas 5 r?plicas com tr?s pl?ntulas por vaso em cada tratamento. Vinte dias ap?s a aplica??o, foram realizadas avalia??es morfol?gicas com aux?lio do programa Delta-T Scan Root Analysis System. Em segundo experimento, constaram aplica??es de NaCl em cinco doses: 0, 50, 100, 200 e 400 mM L-? e um controle mantido com solu??o nutritiva, onde foi realizado a mesma distribui??o, per?odo de condu??o e avalia??es morfol?gicas. Com o resultado desses dois experimentos preliminares realizou-se uma terceira condu??o experimental agora utilizando-se em pl?ntulas de WT e Nr. Os tratamentos foram constitu?dos da concentra??o de 190 mg L-? AH [(-) SAL (+) AH], da concentra??o de 100 mM L-?de NaCl [(+) SAL (-) AH], que causa danos severos, mas que n?o ? letal para a planta (obtidos nos ensaios preliminares de concentra??o-resposta), a combina??o entre os dois [(+) SAL (+) AH] e um controle mantido somente com solu??o nutritiva [(-) SAL (-) AH]. Foram realizadas 6 r?plicas por tratamento com tr?s pl?ntulas por vaso. Vinte e cinco dias ap?s a aplica??o, foram realizadas avalia??es morfol?gicas; monitoramento de altera??es no metabolismo das pl?ntulas submetidas aos diferentes tratamentos por meio da an?lise do pH rizosf?rico e an?lises das atividades das enzimas antioxidantes Peroxidase do ascorbato, Catalase e Super?xido dismutase, al?m de ser quantificado o impacto do estresse na viabilidade das c?lulas radiculares e an?lises de par?metros fotossint?ticos. Analisando-se globalmente os resultados, foi poss?vel observar que houve diferen?as significativas com rela??o aos tratamentos tanto de ordem morfol?gica, quanto bioqu?mica e fisiol?gica, onde o AH, quando utilizado isoladamente [(-) SAL (+) AH] proporcionou melhores condi??es para o estabelecimento das pl?ntulas. De uma maneira geral, o AH quando utilizado em combina??o com SAL [(+) SAL (+) AH], atuou minimizando os efeitos danosos do estresse salino. Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Produ??o Vegetal, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2022.Studies that aim to provide improvements in salinity tolerance to the culture of tomato using the most varied measures still have a vast knowledge open, however, new agronomic alternatives as phytohormone engineering and the use of biostimulants in agriculture, such as humic substances, have demonstrated efficacy in promoting and sensitizing the defence mechanisms of plants when exposed to different environmental stresses. Thus, this work had as objective to evaluate the capacity of humic acids (HA) isolated of vermicompost to alleviate the salt stress in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L. cv. Micro-Tom) seedlings in two different genotypes, Wild type (WT) and in its hormonal mutant for ethylene (Never ripe, Nr). For this, the plants were cultivated in a hydroponic system (Leonard pots) constituted of Hoagland ? ionic strength solution with the presence or absence of AH and NaCl. At first an experiment was developed in which MT seedlings were tested for their initial growth, where the treatments consisted of AH applications in six concentrations: 0, 25, 50, 100, 200 and 400 mg L-1 and a control maintained only with nutritive solution. There were five replicates with three seedlings per pot in each treatment. Twenty days after the application, morphological evaluations were carried out with the aid of the program Delta-T Scan Root Analysis System. In the second experiment, NaCl was applied in five doses: 0, 50, 100, 200 and 400 mM L-1 and a control maintained with nutritive solution, where the same distribution, conduction period and morphological evaluations were performed. With the result of these two preliminary experiments a third experimental conduction was carried out now using WT and Nr seedlings. The treatments were composed of the concentration of 190 mg L-1 AH [(-) SAL (+) AH], the concentration of 100 mM L-1 NaCl [(+) SAL (-) AH], which causes severe damage, but is not lethal for the plant (obtained in the preliminary tests of concentration-response), the combination between the two [(+) SAL (+) AH] and a control maintained only with nutrient solution [(-) SAL (-) AH]. Six replicates were conducted per treatment with three seedlings per pot. Twenty-five days after the application, morphological evaluations were carried out; monitoring of alterations in the metabolism of the seedlings submitted to the different treatments by means of rhizospheric pH analysis and analysis of the activities of the antioxidant enzymes Ascorbate peroxidase, Catalase and Superoxide dismutase, besides being quantified the impact of the stress on the viability of the root cells and analysis of photosynthetic parameters. Analyzing the results globally, it was possible to observe that there were significant differences with respect to the treatments both of morphological, biochemical and physiological order, where the AH, when used in isolation [(-) SAL (+) AH] provided better conditions for the establishment of the seedlings. In general, AH when used in combination with SAL [(+) SAL (+) AH], minimized the harmful effects of salt stress.
