Os transg?nicos s?o uma importante ferramenta de manejo integrado de pragas que tem como finalidade mitigar as inj?rias causadas por insetos pragas diminuindo a utiliza??o de agrot?xicos. Os herbicidas controlam as plantas daninhas, por?m, podem causar danos ao habitat de insetos que utilizam tais plantas para sobreviv?ncia. O objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar a diversidade da entomofauna encontrada em cultivos de milho transg?nico e com aplica??o de herbicidas. O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido na Fazenda Experimental Rio Manso, pertencente ? Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri - UFVJM e no laborat?rio de Controle Biol?gico de insetos desta mesma institui??o. Utilizou-se para a coleta armadilhas de queda (pitfall traps) que foram colocadas no centro das parcelas experimentais. Foram realizadas tr?s avalia??es ao longo da safra, nas quais as plantas se encontravam em diferentes fases fenol?gicas, ?poca de emerg?ncia da pl?ntula, de flora??o e enchimento de gr?os. O total de indiv?duos coletados no per?odo de amostragem foi de 2.788, distribu?dos em 8 ordens e 21 fam?lias. As principais, ordens coletadas foram Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Hemiptera, Orthoptera, Diptera, Blattodea, Dermaptera e Araneae. J? ?s fam?lias mais abundantes no cultivo foram: Formicidae seguida de Bostrichidae, Cicadellidae, Cercopidae, Staphylinidae, Bruchidae, Muscidae, Crysomelidae, Scarabaeidae, Tenebrionidae, Gryliidae, Sphecidae, Carabidae, Lagriidae, Forficulidae, Ulidiidae, Cydnidae, Apidae, Vespidae, Termitidae e Tetrigidae. Verificou-se, que, apenas na segunda avalia??o, ocorreram intera??es, e que essas foram entre a variedade Herculex e o herbicida Glufosinato de am?nio com efeito na diversidade e entre Herculex e o Atrazine com efeito na riqueza de fam?lias. Transgenics are an important integrated pest management tool whose purpose is to mitigate the insults caused by insect pests by reducing the use of pesticides. Herbicides control weeds, however, can cause habitat damage to insects that use such plants for survival. The objective of this work was to evaluate the diversity of entomofauna found in transgenic maize and herbicide application. The present work was developed at the Rio Manso Experimental Farm, belonging to the Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri ? UFVJM and the Insect Biological Control Laboratory of this institution. Pitfall traps that were placed in the center of the experimental plots were used for the collection. Three evaluations were carried out during the harvest, in which the plants were in different phenological phases, emergence season of the seedling, flowering and filling of grains. The total number of individuals collected during the sampling period was 2,788, distributed in 8 orders and 21 families. The main ones collected were Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Hemiptera, Orthoptera, Diptera, Blattodea, Dermaptera and Araneae. The most abundant families in the cultivation were: Formicidae followed by Bostrichidae, Cicadellidae, Cercopidae, Brushidae, Muscidae, Crysomelidae, Scarabaeidae, Tenebrionidae, Gryliidae, Sphecidae, Carabidae, Lagriidae, Forficulidae, Ulidiidae, Cydnidae, Apidae, Vespidae, Termitidae and Tetrigidae. It was found that only in the second evaluation did interactions occur, and that these were between the Herculex variety and the herbicide Glufosinate ammonium with effect on diversity and between Herculex and Atrazine with effect on family wealth.
