Entre os herbicidas com registro para plantio de eucalipto usadas antes ou ap?s o plantio, alguns podem causar fitotoxidade ?s mudas, podendo provocar redu??o do crescimento ou a morte das plantas jovens. O objetivo desse trabalho foi testar a toler?ncia do clone I144 de eucalipto aos herbicidas clomazone, sulfentrazone e a mistura pronta do sulfentrazone + diuron, variando textura e umidade do solo al?m da condi??o de aplica??o (pr? e p?s-plantio). O trabalho foi realizado na Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri - UFVJM, campus JK, Diamantina-MG, conduzido em casa de vegeta??o, sendo utilizado o Clone I144, variedade urograndis. Foi utilizado um esquema fatorial 2x6, onde o primeiro fator foram: duas umidades do solo (60 e 80% da capacidade de campo) e seis aplica??es de herbicidas (sulfentrazone em pr? e p?s plantio, clomazone em pr? plantio e a mistura diuron + sulfentrazone em pr? e p?s plantio, al?m do tratamento controle, sem aplica??o de herbicidas). Aos 30, 60, 90 e 120 dias ap?s aplica??o em pr?-plantio dos herbicidas foram realizadas as avalia??es de fitoxicidade provocada pelos herbicidas. Em todas as situa??es, plantas de eucalipto sob a??o do sulfentrazone, aplicado em pr? plantio, apresentaram menor incremento em altura. Quanto ? intoxica??o, o sulfentrazone e a mistura de sulfentrazone + diuron nos solos arenosos apresentaram maiores danos as plantas. Ao longo do tempo as mudas que haviam apresentado sintomas visuais de fitotoxidade, recuperaram e voltaram a apresentar aspecto melhor depois dos 60 dias ap?s aplica??o. Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Produ??o Vegetal, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2020.Knowing the efficiency of the herbicides used in eucalyptus plantations, in relation to the control of weeds and also to the phytotoxic effects are fundamental information for the implantation of a planting of this species. Among the molecules registered for eucalyptus planting, used before or after planting, some can cause phytotoxicity to seedlings, which can cause reduced growth and even death. The objective of this work was to test the tolerance of eucalyptus clone I144 to the herbicides clomazone, sulfentrazone and the ready mixture of sulfentrazone + diuron, varying soil texture and moisture in addition to the application condition (pre and post-planting). The work was carried out at the Federal University of the Valleys of Jequitinhonha and Mucuri - UFVJM, JK campus, Diamantina-MG, conducted in a greenhouse, using Clone I144, urograndis variety. A 2x6 factorial scheme was used, where the first factor was composed of two soil moisture (60 and 80% of field capacity) and factor two for six herbicide applications (sulfentrazone in pre and post planting, clomazone in pre planting and the mixture diuron + sulfentrazone in pre and post planting, in addition to the control treatment, without application of herbicides). At 30, 60, 90 and 120 days after application in the pre-planting of the herbicides, plant height and visual poisoning caused by the herbicides were measured. The content of chlorophyll diameter and stem diameter was measured at 120 days, the latter being compared to the initial value. In all situations, eucalyptus plants under the action of sulfentrazone, applied in pre-planting, showed less increase in height. As for intoxication, sulfentrazone and the mixture of sulfentrazone + diuron in sandy soils showed greater damage to plants. Over time the seedlings that had shown visual symptoms of phytotoxicity, recovered and returned to appear better after 60 days after application.
