Marandu (capim-marandu) destaca-se pelo fato de ocupar aproximadamente 50% das pastagens cultivadas no Brasil e por apresentar boa toler?ncia e produtividade sob sombreamento moderado. Seu manejo em monocultivo j? est? elucidado, todavia ? necess?rio verificar metas de manejo tamb?m em sistemas sombreados. Sendo assim o presente estudo foi proposto com o objetivo de definir metas de manejo do pastejo do capimmarandu em sistema silvipastoril com aduba??o nitrogenada nos espa?amentos 12x2 e 12x3m. O delineamento utilizado foi o de parcelas subdivididas com quatro repeti??es. As parcelas foram compostas por eucalipto (nos espa?amentos 12?2 e 12?3 m) consorciados com capimmarandu e o monocultivo do capim-marandu. As subparcelas foram tr?s doses de nitrogenio (N) (0, 100 e 200 kg ha-1). As plantas foram cortadas para estimativa da produ??o, taxa de ac?mulo e efici?ncia da aduba??o nitrogenada ap?s os pastos cultivados a pleno sol atingirem 95% da intercepta??o luminosa (IL). Nesse momento todas as parcelas foram cortadas, mesmo as submetidas ao sombreamento. Observou-se que houve efeito da intera??o entre arranjo de plantio e dose de nitrog?nio sobre a IL. Dentre as doses de nitrog?nio nos sistemas consorciados, a menor IL foi observada para o tratamento sem aduba??o. N?o foi observado diferen?a significativa entre os sistemas sombreados para o valor de IL. Observou-se redu??o na incid?ncia de vermelho:vermelho distante para os espa?amentos das arvores de 12x2 e 12x3 m em rela??o ao pleno sol. Para o ?ndice de ?rea foliar (IAF), foi observado efeito de arranjo de plantio e doses de nitrog?nio onde o sombreamento reduziu o IAF das plantas de capimmarandu comparado com o monocultivo. Os tratamentos sem aduba??o nitrogenada apresentaram os menores valores de IAF. Os teores de clorofila a, b, rela??o a/b e total tiveram efeito apenas de dose de nitrog?nio. Foi observado efeito da intera??o entre arranjo de plantio e dose de nitrog?nio sobre a altura e altura estendida do capim-marandu. A aduba??o nitrogenada e o sombreamento aumentaram a altura e altura estendida das plantas, sendo verificado efeito de dose de nitrog?nio e arranjo de plantio para o ?ndice de tombamento (IT) do capim-marandu. O IT foi maior para os tratamentos sem aduba??o nitrogenada e menor no sombreamento. Observou-se aumento no comprimento de perfilhos a?reos e basais com o sombreamento e doses de nitrog?nio. A densidade populacional de perfilho basal do capimmarandu no monocultivo n?o diferiu significativamente com o aumento das doses de nitrog?nio e com o sombreamento. O aumento das doses de nitrog?nio aumentou o perfilhamento a?reo do capim-marandu. A dose de 200 kg ha-1 de nitrog?nio aumentou as porcentagens de l?mina foliar, pseudocolmo e infloresc?ncia. O sombreamento e a dose de 200 kg N ha-1 reduziu arela??o folha:colmo do capim-marandu em rela??o aos tratamentos sem aduba??o. N?o foi observado efeito de arranjo de plantio para a produ??o e taxa de ac?mulo de massa seca do capim-marandu, observando-se apenas efeito de dose de nitrog?nio. Verificou-se que a melhor efici?ncia da aduba??o nitrogenada para o capim-marandu em sistema silvipastoril foi obtido com a dose de 200 kg de N ha-1. Marandu (marandu palisade grass) stands out because it occupies approximately 50% of the pastures cultivated in Brazil and has good tolerance and productivity under moderate shading. Its management in monoculture is already elucidated, however it is necessary to verify management goals also in shaded systems. Thus, the present study was proposed with the objective of evaluate grazing management goals for marandu palisade grass in silvopastoral system with nitrogen fertilization at spacing of 12x2m and 12x3m. The experimental design was a split plot with four replications. The plots consisted of eucalyptus (12 ? 2 and 12 ? 3 m spacing) intercropped with marandu palisade grass and marandu palisade grass monoculture. The subplots were three nitrogen (N) doses (0, 100 and 200 kg ha-1). The plants were cut to evaluate yield, accumulation rate and efficiency of nitrogen fertilization after pastures under full sun reached 95% of light interception (LI). At this point all plots were cut, even those subjected to shading. It was observed that there was effect of interaction between planting arrangement and nitrogen dose on LI. Among the nitrogen rates in the intercropping systems, the lowest LI was observed for the treatment without fertilization. No significant difference was observed between the shaded systems for the LI value. There was a reduction in the incidence of red: far red for tree spacing of 12x2 and 12x3 m in relation to full sun. For the leaf area index (LAI), was observed the effect of planting arrangement and nitrogen rates where shading reduced the LAI of marandu palisade grass compared to monoculture. Treatments without nitrogen fertilization presented the lowest IAF values. Chlorophyll a, b, a/b ratio and total contents had only nitrogen dose effect. Effect of interaction between planting arrangement and nitrogen dose on the height and extended height of marandu palisade grass was observed. Nitrogen fertilization and shading increased the height and extended height of the plants, with effect of nitrogen dose and planting arrangement for the tumbling index (TI) of marandu palisade grass. The TI was higher for treatments without nitrogen fertilization and lower for shading. There was an increase in the aerial and basal tillers length with shading and nitrogen doses. The basal tillering population density of marandu palisade grass in the monoculture did not differ significantly with increasing nitrogen rates and shading. Increasing nitrogen doses increased aerial tillering of marandu palisade grass. The dose of 200 kg ha-1 nitrogen increased the leaf blade, pseudoculm and inflorescence percentages. Shading and the dose of 200 kg N ha-1 reduced the leaf: stem ratio of marandu palisade grass in relation to treatments without fertilization. No effect of planting arrangement was observed for yield and dry mass accumulation rate of marandu palisade grass, with only nitrogen dose effect. It was verified that the best nitrogen fertilization efficiency for marandu palisade grass in silvopastoralsystem was obtained with the dose of 200 kg of N ha-1.
