Contudo, a simbiose depende da compatibilidade funcional entre os simbiontes, e do correto manejo da fertilidade do solo para manter ou aumentar a a??o ben?fica e simbi?tica dos FMA. Objetivou-se avaliar o crescimento, distribui??o do sistema radicular e aspectos fisiol?gicos do cafeeiro inoculado com fungos micorr?zicos arbusculares e fertilizado com fontes de f?sforo. Para isso, experimentos independentes foram conduzidos em casa de vegeta??o da UFVJM em delineamento de blocos casualisados. No primeiro experimento os tratamentos foram estabelecidos pelo esquema fatorial 2 x 9, em que mudas de caf? inoculadas com o fungo Acaulospora colombiana e n?o inoculadas foram crescidas em solo fertilizado com doses de 100 e 50% de P2O5 recomendado para o plantio do cafeeiro que ? de 50 g por cova, usando MAP, MAP revestido com pol?mero, organomineral peletizado ou granulado e sem aduba??o (controle). No segundo experimento os tratamentos foram estabelecidos pelo esquema fatorial 3 x 4, em que as pl?ntulas das cultivares Rubi MG 1192, Mundo Novo 379-19 e Catua? vermelho IAC 144 foram inoculadas com Rhizophagus clarus, A. colombiana, R. clarus + A. colombiana ou n?o inoculadas (controle) e crescidas em mistura de Latossolo Vermelho-Amarelo e substrato Bioplant? na propor??o de 1:1. As plantas de caf? (Rubi MG 1192) com maior crescimento foram aquelas previamente inoculadas com A. colombiana e crescidas em solo adubado com a dose de 100% de P2O5, utilizando como fonte os fertilizantes organomineral peletizado e granulado e MAP revestido. As maiores taxas fotossint?ticas e efici?ncia do uso da ?gua foram observadas nas plantas inoculadas e adubadas independente da fonte de P ou da dose. Para o segundo experimento, as cultivares de caf? inoculadas com FMAs apresentaram maior crescimento, melhor distribui??o do sistema radicular em profundidade e maiores taxas fotossint?ticas, sendo a cultivar Rubi MG 1192 mais responsiva e os in?culos R. clarus de forma isolada ou em mistura com A. colombiana mais efetivos.Submitted by Jos? However, the symbiosis depends on the functional compatibility between the symbionts and the correct management of soil fertility to maintain or increase the beneficial and symbiotic action of the AMFs. The objective of this study was to evaluate the growth and physiological aspects of coffee plants inoculated with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi under different phosphorus sources, as well as the effect of symbiosis on coffee cultivars and their relationship with root system distribution. For this, independent experiments were conducted in a greenhouse of the UFVJM. The first experiment was conducted in randomized blocks, arranged in a 2 x 9 factorial scheme, corresponding to coffee seedlings inoculated with the Colombiana Acaulospora fungus and not inoculated; (MAP, polymer-coated MAP, pelletized and granulated organomineral), and a control treatment (without fertilization), in doses of 100 and 50% equivalent to phosphorus fertilization for coffee planting. (Rubi MG 1192, Mundo Novo 379-19 and Catua? Vermelho IAC 144), and AMF inoculation (Rhizophagus clarus, Acaulospora colombiana, R. clarus and A. colombiana mix and control without inoculation). The inoculation of AMF together with slow release P sources promoted higher growth of newly planted coffee, with better results obtained with the organomineral sources pelleted, granulated and MAP protected at a dose of 100% .The inoculation together with the application of the different sources of phosphorus, whether slow or fast release in the two phosphorus levels 100 and 50%, presented higher photosynthetic rates and efficiency of water use, proving to be a good alternative to be used in planting coffee.
