Partimos da LDBEN 9394/96 por se tratar da primeira tentativa de regulamentar a formação de professores no Brasil. Também analisamos as Diretrizes Curriculares de Formação de Professores e as dos cursos de Pedagogia, visto que ambas surgiram dentro de um movimento em busca da profissionalização docente, reacionário à lógica implementada, sobretudo, a partir de 1990. Por fim, apresentamos as principais políticas de formação de professores no atual governo. Concluímos, com base em Moraes (2003), Malanchen (2006) e Freitas (2011), que a lógica que perpassa as políticas de formação de professores desde 1990, via de regra, é a mercantil, atendendo aos interesses do capital. Tal lógica se alicerça em três elementos básicos: profissionalização docente, noção de competências como base formativa e flexibilização do lócus de formação.In this paper we aim, through a bibliographical analysis, to present some considerations about the teacher education, with a focus on the main legislations of the educational policies of our country. We started from the LDBEN 9394 / 96, which is a first intent to prescribe the teacher education in Brazil. We also analyzed the Curricular Directions of the Teacher Education and the Directions of the Pedagogy program, once both emerge within a movement in search of the professionalization of the docents, reactionary to the implemented logic, mostly since the years 1990. At least, we show the main teacher education policies on this current government. We conclude that the logic of the teacher education policies since the 1990’s is the merchandize, which fits to the interests of the capital.
