Não encontrei o dia de publicação.Este artigo apresenta parte de uma pesquisa sobre as representações que crianças e adolescentes institucionalizados têm sobre a convivência familiar e comunitária. Os dados analisados referem-se às ideias de sujeitos com idades entre 7 e 17 anos, que residem em dois Abrigos de Viçosa-MG. Para coleta e análise de dados, foi utilizado o Método Clínico Piagetiano, instrumento que possibilita ao pesquisador conhecer a originalidade do pensamento infanto-juvenil. Os dados foram submetidos à análise qualitativa e as respostas, agrupadas em subcategorias previamente definidas: Aspectos físicos, Aspectos humanos, Sentimentos, Atividades desenvolvidas, Regras e obrigações, Atitudes e comportamentos, Finalidade, Desejos e necessidades e Conflitos/problemas na família. Os resultados indicaram que a institucionalização ainda é priorizada em detrimento de políticas de reconstrução e fortalecimento dos vínculos familiares, uma vez que faltam políticas públicas efetivas no fortalecimento da família para superação das dificuldades que levaram a uma situação de vulnerabilidade e, consequentemente, ao acolhimento.This article is part of a research about the representations that institutionalized children and adolescents have on the family and community living. The data analyzed refer to the ideas of children and adolescents aged 7 to 17 years, residing in two shelters Viçosa-MG. To collect and analyze data, Piaget's Clinical Method was used, which is an instrument that enables the researcher to know the originality of juvenile thinking. The data were qualitatively analyzed, and responses were grouped into predefined subcategories: Physical aspects, Human aspects, Feelings, Activities developed, Rules and obligations, Attitudes and behaviors, Purpose, and Wants and needs and conflicts/problems in the family.
