Resumo: This study aimed to evaluate the agronomic traits, the genotype x environment interaction (GxE), adaptability and stability of seven soybean cultivars at three sowing dates in Uberlândia-MG, by parametric and nonparametric method, and characterizes the genetic diversity of these cultivars in each season by using multivariate analysis. The test was conducted at Capim Branco Farm, belonging to the Federal University of Uberlândia, in Uberlândia - MG. Sowing was held on October 29 (1st season), November 24 (2nd season) and December 17 (3rd season) 2007. The experimental design was a randomized, involving seven genotypes with three replications, in each of the three sowing dates. The genotypes used were four cultivars UFUS (Xavante, Riqueza, Milionária and Guarani) and three cultivars Msoy (8001, 8411 and 8914). Each plot was 4 rows of 5 m, spaced 0.50 meters between rows. During the experiment were adopted all cultural practices relevant to the culture. Were performed individual analysis of variance, followed by an analysis of variance where the effects of genotypes and environments were considered fixed. Means were compared by Tukey test at 5% probability. Analysis of adaptability and phenotypic stability of genotypes were performed using the method Eberhart and Russell, Lin and Binns (1988) modified by Carneiro (1998) and centroid (NASCIMENTO et al., 2009). In the study of genetic divergence, we used the agglomerative methods of Tocher and UPGMA, based on the Mahalanobis distance as dissimilarity measure. Statistical analysis was performed with the aid of computer application in genetics and statistics, GENES program . By the method of Eberhart and Russell, for grain yield, the cultivar UFUS Xavante was classified as specific adaptability to environment and high stability. The other cultivars were classified as being of general adaptability. Cultivar UFUS Milionária behaved as low predictability for grain yield. For oil content, the cultivars Msoy 8914 and UFUS Xavante have high average behaved as high stability and was classified as adaptability to environment. Cultivars UFUS Guarani and UFUS Riqueza behaved as low stability and wide adaptability. For the character content of protein, all cultivars behaved as wide adaptability and low stability. According to the methodology of Lin and Binns modified by Carneiro (1998), for grain yield, the cultivar UFUS Xavante was classified as high stability and adaptability to environment. Cultivar UFUS Milionária behaved as a high adaptability and high stability in adverse environmental and the cultivars Msoy 8914 and UFUS Riqueza behaved as low adaptability and stability in all environments. For oil content, the cultivars UFUS Xavante and Msoy 8914 acted as the high adaptability and cultivars UFUS Guarani and UFUS Riqueza, showed reduced adaptability. For characterprotein, cultivars UFUS Guarani and UFUS Riqueza behaved as wide adaptability and cultivars UFUS Milionária and Msoy 8914 were classified as low stability and poor adaptability to the environments evaluated. The centroid method was consistent with the methodology proposed by Lin and Binns modified by Carneiro (1998) regarding the classification of the cultivars adaptabilidde and stability. Genotype Msoy 8001 formed a separate group in the group, both the first and the third planting date, the methods of Tocher and UPGMA evidence to be more dissimilar in comparison with other genotypes. Cultivars UFUS Xavante and Msoy 8411 were grouped in all the seasons, as well as cultivars UFUS Guarani and UFUS Riqueza.

Cultivars UFUS Xavante and Msoy 8411 were grouped in all the seasons, as well as cultivars UFUS Guarani and UFUS Riqueza.O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar as características agronômicas, a interação genótipos x ambientes (GxA), a adaptabilidade e estabilidade de sete cultivares de soja em três épocas de semeadura em Uberlândia- MG, por métodos paramétricos e não-paramétricos, bem como caracterizar a diversidade genética destas cultivares em cada época de semeadura por meio de técnicas multivariadas. Os ensaios foram conduzidos na Fazenda Capim Branco, pertencente à Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, no município de Uberlândia - MG. As semeaduras foram realizadas nos dias 29 de outubro (1ª época), 24 de novembro (2ª época) e 17 de dezembro (3ª época) de 2007. O delineamento experimental adotado foi o de blocos casualizados, envolvendo sete genótipos com três repetições, em cada uma das três épocas de semeadura. Os genótipos utilizados foram quatro cultivares UFUS (Xavante, Riqueza, Guarani e Milionária) e três cultivares Msoy (8001, 8411 e 8914). Cada parcela foi constituída de 4 fileiras de 5 metros, espaçadas de 0,50 metro entre fileiras. Durante a condução dos experimentos foram adotados todos tratos culturais pertinentes à cultura. Foram realizadas análises de variância individuais, seguindo-se uma análise de variância conjunta em que os efeitos de genótipos e ambientes foram considerados fixos. As médias foram comparadas pelo teste de Tukey a 5% de probabilidade. A análise de adaptabilidade e estabilidade fenotípica dos genótipos foi feita pelos métodos de Eberhart e Russell (1966), Lin e Binns (1988) modificado por Carneiro (1998) e centróide (NASCIMENTO et al., 2009). No estudo de divergência genética, foram utilizados os métodos aglomerativos de Tocher e UPGMA, fundamentados na distância generalizada de Mahalanobis como medida de dissimilaridade. As análises estatísticas foram realizadas com o auxílio do aplicativo computacional em genética e estatística, Programa GENES. Pelo método de Eberhart e Russell, para o caráter produtividade de grãos, a cultivar UFUS Xavante foi classificada como de adaptabilidade específica para ambiente favorável e de alta estabilidade. As demais cultivares foram classificadas como sendo de adaptabilidade geral. A cultivar UFUS Milionária comportou-se como de baixa previsibilidade para produtividade de grãos. Para o teor de óleo, as cultivares Msoy 8914 e UFUS Xavante apresentaram elevada média, comportaram se como de alta estabilidade e foram classificadas como de adaptabilidade a ambiente favorável. As cultivares UFUS Guarani e UFUS Riqueza se comportaram como de baixa estabilidade e ampla adaptabilidade. Para o caráter teor de proteína, todas as cultivares se comportaram como de ampla adaptabilidade e baixa estabilidade. Segundo a metodologia de Lin e Binns modificada por Carneiro (1998), para o caráter produtividade de grãos, a cultivar UFUS Xavante foi classificada como de alta estabilidade e adaptabilidade para ambiente favorável. A cultivar UFUS Milionária comportou-se como a de alta adaptabilidade e alta estabilidade em ambiente desfavorável e as cultivares Msoy 8914 e UFUS Riqueza comportaram-se como de baixa adaptabilidade e estabilidade em todos ambientes. Para o teor de óleo, as cultivares UFUS Xavante e Msoy 8914 comportaram-se como de adaptabilidade geral alta e as cultivares UFUS Guarani e UFUS Riqueza, apresentaram adaptabilidade reduzida. Para o caráter teor de proteína, as cultivares UFUS Guarani e UFUS Riqueza comportaram se como de ampla adaptabilidade geral e as cultivares UFUS Milionária e Msoy 8914 foram classificadas como de baixa estabilidade e pouca adaptabilidade para os ambientes avaliados. O método do centróide foi concordante com a metodologia proposta por Lin e Binns modificada por Carneiro (1998) com relação à classificação das cultivares quanto a adaptabilidde e estabilidade. O genótipo Msoy 8001 formou um grupo isolado no agrupamento, tanto na primeira quanto na terceira época de semeadura, pelos métodos de Tocher e UPGMA, evidenciando ser mais dissimilar em relação aos demais genótipos.
