Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar o ecoturismo como apoio às aulas práticas de geografia, levando os estudiosos da ciência geográfica a repensarem o tema central como um aliado no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da geografia, no ensino fundamental e médio, pretendendo também ampliar as discussões sobre o tema em questão e seus diferentes ângulos conjuntamente com outros profissionais da educação.
