This study presents the results of research projects and the prospects of life of rural youth in the municipality of Anchieta, ES, inferring on their unfolding in the processes of succession in family farming, based on family and the city socioeconomic changes occurring as a whole. The lack of autonomy in the family, in moments of decision about what to produce and market, and in particular, access to income or the individual, together built the stigma of a supposed inferiority in relation to urban areas has contributed to the young rural town in the reference design of better conditions of life. Building on this complexity and to support a theoretical framework based on Social and Human Sciences, this work is proposed to understand the dynamics of a group that, while social category is inserted in a changing reality. For this, appropriate methods are qualitative research, especially the use of focus groups, applied to the rural youth from across the city, confronting the information it obtained from secondary data and several ethnographies on the subject. The objective was to contribute modestly, from a found study, with knowledge about the future of agriculture based economy of the family and possible contributions to the productivity of young people stay in rural areas. It will be seen that young rural from Anchieta-ES have more varied wishes, confirming that the extra-family relationships and family, work, infrastructure, policies, sports, culture, recreation and education, as well as the expansion of its space of sociability, connecting the rural and urban, are factors that influence the elaboration, reconstruction and in the future, in completion their projects of life.
