Resumo: | This work had the objective to verify if the weaning age of 21, 28 or 35 days affects behavior of piglets and piglets socialized grouping facilitates the process of memorizing with piglets in pool, two experiments were conducted. In the first experiment, we used 90 commercial hybrid pigs, barrows and gilts, in completely randomized design split-plot sub-divided and the factor share (weaning age at 21, 28 or 35 days) treatment with 30 named repetitions involving four levels (week evaluation) and factor subplot day evaluation (1o, 2o, 8o, 9o, 15o, 16o, 22o and 23o days after weaning), being the animal considered a experimental unit. The animals combining 21-1 were more efficient in exploring the environment with actions "swimming in a circle" and "scratch the edge" and exhibited higher scores piglets from other treatments were less time in action "stopped" and "vocalization". The animals found the combination 21-9 ramp on the platform had more preferably faster on one side of the ramp and repeated a greater number of times the action "urinate or defecate" after rising it. In the second experiment were used 90 commercial hybrid pigs, barrows and gilts, in a completely randomized design with 15 replications (two animals per experimental unit) in split-plot sub-divided, and the portion called factor treatment (weaning to 21, 28 or 35 days), involving four levels (week evaluation) and factor subplot day evaluation (1o, 2o, 8o, 9o, 15o, 16o, 22o and 23 days after weaning). The animals combining 21-1 were more efficient in exploring the environment with actions "circle swim", "swimming aimlessly" and "scratching the edge", with scores higher than the other treatments were less time in action xiv"vocalization" and when succeeded and climbed the platform, were the fastest. The animals combination 21-8 and 21-9 had a greater preference for either side of the ramp on the platform and repeated a greater number of times the action "urinate or defecate" after rising the same, although it has not been statistical difference for the last variable. We conclude that piglets weaned at 21 days, when accompanied or not by other piglets were more effective in exploring the pool and memorize the trajectory access platform that piglets weaned at 28 or 35 days, being more decisive learning experience experienced by the animal, the weaning age itself. |
