Resumo: | The pollution of the environment and in particular soil compartment has been configured as a great social and environmental problem, especially when it comes to the accumulation of certain chemicals in the soil. Identifying the mechanisms of adsorption, the process tends to be more specific or electrostatic, or even the behavior of certain metal while others are already previously adsorbed can contribute to the development of techniques to minimize environmental problems caused by waste disposal rich heavy metals on the soil above. The soils selected for this study belong to the dominant classes of the State of Minas Gerais, which are: Oxisols, Ultisols, Inceptisols and Entisols. Within the classes we tried to work with A and B horizons, which showed contrasting characteristics in terms of chemical and physical. Soil samples received doses equivalent to the maximum sorption capacities (CMA) of Cd, Cr, Ni and Pb were kept incubated for 30 days. They were added individually in each sample at concentrations of 0, 0.5, 1 and 1.5 times the CMA which was previously determined for each metal and soils. Incubated soils at rates equivalent to CMA heavy metals Cd, Cr, Ni, Pb and subsequently received the highest doses of these metals were similar when analyzing the adsorption at different increasing doses added. There was no correlation between the values of adsorbed heavy metals Cd, Cr, Ni and Pb in soils incubated with CMA these metals, with the soils. The heavy metals Cr and Pb were the highest amounts of metals desorb previously incubated in the soils, were the most strongly adsorbed in the same situation. |

The heavy metals Cr and Pb were the highest amounts of metals desorb previously incubated in the soils, were the most strongly adsorbed in the same situation.
