Geração de zonas de manejo para cafeicultura usando sensor SPAD e análise foliar

Resumo: | One of the critical problems of the precision agriculture is the need of a dense sampling in order to detect the spatial variability of the attribute in study, allowing the generation of maps. One of the solutions for this problem is being the generation of management zones. The objective of this work was: a) to define management zones for coffee crop using K- Means and Fuzzy C-Means methods, based on determinations accomplished with chlorophyll meter and leaf analysis; b) to analyze the correlation between the values of the chlorophyll meter and the results of the leaf analysis of nutrients and c) to evaluate the management zones obtained using the two clustering methods. This work was carried out at Fazenda Jatobá, located in Paula Cândido, MG, during November 2007. The evaluated area had 2.1 ha cultivated with Coffea Arabic L., Catuaí variety, in a soil characterized as Argissolo Vermelho-Amarelo. The rate sampling for the SPAD was made in an alternate way in relation to the row planting, sampling one each four plants, a total of 1145 plants were sampled. The leaves collection was submitted to the leaf analysis to each 10 plants used for SPAD reading. Therefore, this tenth point consisted of simultaneous determinations of SPAD and leaf analysis in laboratory. A total 114 plants were sampled in this way. The correlation between the values of SPAD and the macro and micronutrient leaf concentrations of leaf were analyzed through the Pearson s correlation. The management zones generated using the two clustering methods based on the SPAD values were compared to the ones generated using the results from the N, P and K leaf concentrations; the N and Ca leaf concentrations; the N leaf concentrations; the N, Zn and B leaf concentrations; the N, P, K, Ca and S leaf concentrations; the N, Ca and S leaf concentrations. The correlation found between SPAD values and N leaf concentration in this commercial farm was 34%. This result is smaller than the 94% to 98% found in the literature for experiments in controlled environments. The clustering methods K-Means and Fuzzy C-Means did not present differences in the generation of the management zones. There was low similarity among the management zones generated with use of SPAD and nutrient leaf concentration. |

There was low similarity among the management zones generated with use of SPAD and nutrient leaf concentration.Um dos problemas chaves da agricultura de precisão é a necessidade de uma grade de amostragem densa a fim de detectar a variabilidade espacial do atributo em estudo, e possibilitar a geração de mapas que representem de maneira real tal área. Uma das soluções para este problema vem sendo a geração de zonas de manejo. Com este trabalho objetivou-se definir zonas de manejo para cafeicultura por meio dos métodos K-Means e Fuzzy C-Means, com base em determinações realizadas com sensor de clorofila e por análise foliar; analisar a correlação entre os valores do sensor de clorofila e os resultados da análise foliar de nutrientes; e avaliar as zonas de manejo obtidas usando os dois métodos de agrupamento. O trabalho foi desenvolvido na Fazenda Jatobá, localizada no município de Paula Cândido MG, durante o mês de novembro de 2007. A área avaliada apresenta uma lavoura de Coffea arabica L. cv. Catuaí de 2,10 ha, em solo caracterizado como Argissolo Vermelho- Amarelo. A amostragem para a coleta dos valores de SPAD foi feita de forma alternada em relação às linhas de plantio, e nessas linhas, a cada quatro plantas foi amostrada uma, totalizando-se 25% de todas as plantas presentes nas linhas e 1145 plantas em toda a área. Foi realizada a coleta de folhas que foram submetidas à análise foliar a cada 10 plantas utilizadas para leitura SPAD, então este décimo ponto constou de determinações simultâneas de SPAD e valores da análise foliar, totalizando 114 plantas. Foram analisadas as correlações entre os valores de SPAD e as concentrações foliares de macro e micro-nutrientes através da correlação linear de Pearson . Sendo definidas, por meio dos dois métodos propostos, as zonas de manejo com base nas seguintes análises: Valores de SPAD; concentrações foliares de N, P e K; concentrações foliares de N e Ca; concentrações foliares de N; concentrações foliares de N, Zn e B; concentrações foliares de N, P, K, Ca e S; concentrações foliares de N, Ca e S. A correlação encontrada entre valores de SPAD e N foliar na lavoura comercial em estudo (34%) foi menor que a encontrada na literatura para experimentos em ambientes controlados (94 a 98%). Os métodos de agrupamento de dados K-Means e Fuzzy C-Means não apresentaram diferenças na geração das zonas de manejo.
