Estimativas de parâmetros cinéticos de degradabilidade e passagem de materiais originados da consorciação entre capim-braquiária e culturas de milho e soja

The study was conducted to determine the kinetic parameters of in situ dry matter (DM) and fiber in neutral detergent (FND) and the movement of materials from the intercropping of brachiaria grass and crops with corn and soybeans. Three experiments were used, as follows: Experiment 1 - Brachiaria grass and cornconsortium at different plant ages. Experiment 2 - Brachiaria grass and corn consortium set in sowing arrangements. Experiment 3 - Brachiariagrass and soybeans consortium. After the silage of thematerial from these consortia, the kinetics of particles transit and ruminal degradation were evaluated. For the kinetics of particles transit, three indicators were used: the chromium for the brachiaria grass, the ytterbium for soybean and brachiaria grass silage and lanthanum for corn and brachiaria grass silage. The passage rates were determined by the recovery of the indicators in the faeces of the animal. In the degradation test the samples were incubated in the nylon bags at the times of 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 24, 48, 72, 96, 120 and 144 hours. Kinetics data of rumen degradability and particles passage of silages made from material derived from the intercropping of brachiaria grass and crops of corn and soybeans are scarce, which makes comparisons difficult. However, the kinetics of particles passage from corn and brachiaria grass silage (CBS) and Brachiaria grass (BG) had values close to those found in theliterature, for soybean and Brachiaria grass silage (SBS) was lower than the data from literature, which were compared with corn and brachiaria grass silage in exlusive culture. The materials that come from the intercropping caused ruminal repletion. The degradation rates were lower when correlated with data from literature. The values obtained for the parameters of degradation kinetics and passage of materials obtained from the various forms of intercropping of brachiaria grass and crops of corn and soybeans do not compromise the recommendation of the use of forage in order to increase the profitability of the system.
