Resumo: | Two experiments were conduced with objective to evaluate digestible threonine levels for lactating sows. In experiment I, 76 lactating sows of medium genetic potential were used with initial weight of 207.0 ± 32.0 kg and order reproductive cycles of 3.5 ± 2.11, distributed in a blocks randomized experimental design with fo ur treatments (0.589; 0.627; 0.665 e 0.703% of digestible threonine) and nineteen replications being each experimental unit consisting by a female. The treatments did not have effect (P>0.10) on the weight sows to it weans. The loss of weight of the sows during the lactation reduced of linear form (P<0.10) with the increase of the digestible threonine level. The treatments did not have effect (P>0.10) on the thickness of lard (ET) and corporal protein composition to it weans. The threonine levels did not ha ve effect (P>0.10) on the variation of the ET during the lactation, however they had affected (P<0.10) the corporal protein mobilization that reduced linearly with the increase of the threonine level. The treatments did not have effect (P>0.10) on the cons umption of ration, lysine and digestible energy. The treatments had not influenced (P>0.10) the energy efficiency of the females, the performance of the pigs and of the litters. In experiment II, 52 lactating sows of high genetic potential were used with initial weight of 258.2 ± 35.7 kg and order reproductive cycles of 4.6 ± 2.40 childbirths, distributed in a blocks randomized experimental design with four treatments (0.64; 0.67; 0.70 and 0.73% of digestible threonine) and thirteen replications, being each experimental unit consisting by a female. The treatments did not have effect (P>0.10) on the weight of the sow to it weans. The losses total and percentage of weight of the sow during the lactation had reduced of linear form (P<0.05) with the increase of the digestible threonine level in the diet. The treatments had influenced (P<0.04) the ET to wean, as well as, had affected (P<0.05) the total and percentage variation of ET. The compositions of fat and corporal protein after the weans had not been influenced (P<0.05) by the treatments. It was verified linear reduction of the mobilizations total (P<0.04) and percentage (P<0.07) of corporal fat with the increase of the threonine level in the diet. The corporal protein mobilization and milk production had not been influenced (P>0.10) by the treatments. The treatments did not have effect (P>0.10) on the consumption of ration, lysine and digestible energy. The treatments had not influenced (P>0.10) the energy efficiency of the females, the performance of the pigs and of the litters. It was concluded that for lactating sows of medium genetic potential the 0.589% of digestible threonine level, correspondent to the daily consumption of 28.5 g and the digestible threonine: lysine relation of 62.0% is satisfactory and that for lactating sows of high genetic potential in submitted at elevate temperature ambient need 0.73% of digestible threonine, correspondent to the daily consumption of 32.5 g and the digestible threonine: lysine relation of 73.0%. |

No experimento I, foram utilizadas 76 fêmeas lactantes, de médio potencial genético, com peso inicial de 207,0 ± 32,0 kg e ordem de 3,5 ± 2,11 partos, distribuídas em delineamento experimental de blocos ao acaso, composto por quatro tratamentos (0,589, 0,627, 0,665 e 0,703% de treonina digestível) e 19 repetições, sendo cada unidade experimental constituída por uma fêmea. Não houve efeito (P>0,10) dos tratamentos sobre o peso das fêmeas ao desmame. A perda de peso das fêmeas durante a lactação diminuiu de forma linear (P<0,10) com o aumento do nível de treonina digestível. Não houve efeito (P>0,10) dos tratamentos sobre a espessura de toucinho (ET) e a composição de proteína corporal à desmama. Os níveis de treonina não influenciaram (P>0,10) a variação da ET durante a lactação, contudo afetaram (P<0,10) a mobilização de proteína corporal, que diminuiu de forma linear com o aumento do nível de treonina. Não houve efeito (P>0,10) dos tratamentos sobre o consumo de ração, de lisina e de energia digestível. Os tratamentos não influenciaram (P>0,10) a eficiência energética das fêmeas e o desempenho dos leitões e das leitegadas. No experimento II, foram utilizadas 52 fêmeas lactantes, de alto potencial genético, com peso inicial de 258,2 ± 35,7 kg e ordem de 4,6 ± 2,40 partos, distribuídas em delineamento experimental em blocos ao acaso, composto por quatro tratamentos (0,64, 0,67, 0,70 e 0,73% de treonina digestível) e 13 repetições, sendo cada unidade experimental constituída por uma fêmea. Não houve efeito (P>0,10) dos tratamentos sobre o peso das fêmeas ao desmame. As perdas total e porcentual de peso das fêmeas durante a lactação reduziram-se de forma linear (P<0,05) com o aumento do nível de treonina digestível da dieta. Os tratamentos influenciaram (P<0,04) a ET ao desmame, bem como afetaram (P<0,05) a variação total e porcentual de ET. As composições de gordura e proteína corporal à desmama não foram influenciadas (P<0,05) pelos tratamentos. Verificou-se redução linear das mobilizações total (P<0,04) e porcentual (P<0,07) de gordura corporal em razão do aumento do nível de treonina na dieta. A mobilização de proteína corporal e a produção de leite não foram influenciadas (P>0,10) pelos tratamentos. Não houve efeito (P>0,10) dos tratamentos sobre o consumo de ração, de lisina e de energia digestível. Os tratamentos não influenciaram (P>0,10) a eficiência energética das fêmeas e o desempenho dos leitões e das leitegadas.
