Resumo: | In this research were mapped soils, geomorphology and geo- environments of sub-basins of river Jacupiranga and river Pariquera-Açu. It was identified nine units of mapping pedological: Cambisol Haplics phase strong emphasis wavy; Haplic Cambisol moderate relief phase; Haplic Gleissol relief phase plan to gentle wavy; Haplic Gleissol relief phase to smooth wavy corrugated; Latosol red-yellow wavy relief phase; Latosol Yellow Strong relief phase wavy; Argisol Red Yellow; Argiluvic Chernossolo and Litolic Neossol. From the geomorphological units defined, returned to the map of Geo-environments, which joined the characteristics of topography, soils, geology and vegetation cover in the region studied. The samples of soils collected in the field were characterized in terms chemical and geotechnical. The chemical analysis showed that most soils have very low fertility and high levels of aluminum, which affect conventional farming practices. There has been geotechnical characterization through tests of size, the limits of Atterberg and the method of chips (MCT methodology). The soil had a larger majority of its size clay and silt, with variations on the behaviour Laterite. The MCT methodology proved to be useful in comparison with the methodologies of classification USCS and TRB, which are frequently used. Through multicriteria analysis were selected environment s factors for further assessment of the susceptibility to erosion of the study area. The factors were: the average annual rainfall, the map of slope, map of land use and soil and vegetation covering the year 2006. The analysis showed that 48% of the area is in the class of high and very high susceptibility to erosion due to soil characteristics and the high slope. Was evaluated the socio-economic activity through the analysis of satellite images between the years 1984, 1990 and 2006. The analyses between changes of use showed the strong pressure manmade observed between 1984 and 1990, where 24% of the cover was removed. Between 1990 and 2006, it was observed that the removal of vegetation cover was 5%, which demonstrates the stabilization trend that may be associated with soil and geomorphological features of the region. Despite this framework, the pastures have had strong tendency to increase of its area covered, that progress is generally on the old areas of agriculture. This fact, cause the abandonment of areas and encourages the exposure and frequent occurrence of erosive soil by the lack of vegetation cover. For the zoning of areas of strategic development, 28,473 ha have been selected as the most appropriate from the multicriteria analysis. It was used all the information developed over this search. The selected areas are conducive to use in agro-forestry systems and livestock, provided that established the correct management. This zoning, coupled with public incentives for local development, has great potential to change the quality of life of the municipalities involved. |

Identificou-se nove unidades de mapeamento pedológico: Cambissolo Háplicos fase relevo forte ondulado; Cambissolo Háplico fase relevo moderado; Gleissolo Háplico fase relevo plano a suave ondulado; Gleissolos Háplico fase relevo suave ondulado a ondulado; Latossolo Vermelho-Amarelo fase relevo ondulado; Latossolo Amarelo fase relevo forte ondulado; Argissolo Vermelho Amarelo; Chernossolo Argilúvico e Neossolo Litólico. A partir das unidades geomorfológicas definidas, obteve-se o Mapa de Geoambientes, que associou as características de relevo, de solos, de geologia e de cobertura vegetal da região estudada. Os solos coletados em viagens de campo foram analisados e caracterizados quimicamente e geotecnicamente. As análises químicas demonstraram que a maioria deles possuem baixa fertilidade e alto teor de alumínio, o que prejudica práticas agrícolas convencionais. Procedeu-se à caracterização geotécnica por meio de ensaios de granulometria, limites de Atterberg e método das pastilhas (metodologia MCT). Os solos apresentaram granulometria, em sua maioria argilo- siltosa e variabilidade quanto ao comportamento Laterítico e não laterítico. A metodologia MCT mostrou-se útil na comparação com resultados das metodologias de classificação mais utilizadas USCS e TRB. Por meio da análise multicritério, selecionou-se fatores do meio físico para avaliação da suscetibilidade à erosão da área de estudo. Os fatores foram: a precipitação média anual, a carta de declividade, mapa de solos e o uso do solo e cobertura vegetal do ano 2006. A análise demonstrou que 48% da área encontra-se em classe de alta e alta suscetibilidade à erosão devido principalmente às características pedológicas e às altas declividades. Avaliou-se a atividade sócio-econômica por meio da análise entre imagens de satélite dos anos 1984, 1990 e 2006. As análises entre as alterações do uso mostraram a forte pressão antrópica observada entre 1984 e 1990, onde 24% da cobertura foi removida. Entre 1990 e 2006, observou-se que a remoção de cobertura vegetal foi de 5%, demonstrando tendência à estabilização que pode estar associada às características pedológicas e geomorfológicas da região. Apesar desse quadro, as pastagens têm mostrado tendência forte de aumento da área ocupada, sempre associadas à antigas áreas agricultáveis, o que remete ao abandono de áreas, favorecendo a ocorrência de processos erosivos do solo pela remoção da cobertura vegetal. Para o zoneamento de áreas de desenvolvimento estratégico, 28.473 ha foram selecionados como áreas mais adequadas a partir da análise multicritério. Para esse fim, utilizaram-se todas as informações desenvolvidas ao longo desta pesquisa. As áreas selecionadas são propícias à utilização em sistemas agro- florestais e em pecuária, desde que estabelecido o manejo correto.
