This study aims to evaluate this policy, know its conformation and indicate possible weaknesses. The investigation methods adopted were the research and documentary analysis and integrative literature review, because both contribute to the apprehension, comprehension and analysis of documents and productions regarding the theme investigated . The instrument evaluated was the First and Second Follow-up Reports of the three institutions that have implemented and delivered the aforesaid report to the Sports Ministry until December 2013. First, it was conducted a survey of laws and scientific production , official documents and public policies in the participatory / educational sports area for people with disabilities . Then, it was investigated the development of STP and evaluation methods that have been used to evaluate its operation, as well as the weaknesses and strengths. Finally, the analysis of configuration and coverage of STP Disabled Sports . The approach to this theme investigated provided reflection and detection of elements which are indispensable to execution of a public policy for people with disabilities in order to promote the democratization of sports practice. It was observed that: STP Disabled Sports have sought to meet the program guidelines, that the speeches have strong residues of the integration movement supplanting the inclusion movement, that access to public transportation is a limiting factor for full participation of the disabled, beyond social and architectural barriers. Given the above, the results presented are initial indications, since the validity of covenants did not end, however the mentioned aspects can instigate reflections and future adaptations of this policy to attend beneficiaries and guarantee of social right to sport.
