Eficácia de herbicidas em pré-emergência na cultura do girassol

Resumo: O girassol possui crescimento inicial lento, o que o torna muito sensível à interferência das plantas daninhas. No entanto, pouco se sabe acerca da seletividade de herbicidas para a cultura. Objetivou-se avaliar os efeitos dos herbicidas flumioxazin, metribuzin, oxyfluorfen, s-metolachlor e sulfentrazone aplicados em pré-emergência no desenvolvimento dos híbridos de girassol SNY 034A, Hélio 250 e Tera 860 HO e no controle de plantas daninhas. Aos 30 dias após a emergência avaliou-se a intoxicação das plantas de girassol e o controle de plantas daninhas. No florescimento pleno do girassol foram determinados estande, altura, diâmetro de caule, matéria seca da parte área e área foliar das plantas de girassol. Após a fase de maturação fisiológica foi quantificado o diâmetro de capítulo, produtividade e rendimento de óleo. Quando não realizado o controle das plantas daninhas, houve redução de até 64,6% na produtividade. Os herbicidas oxyfluorfen, metribuzin e s-metolachlor foram que apresentaram melhor controle das plantas daninhas, porém o metribuzin causou intoxicação nos três cultivares de girassol, resultando na redução do crescimento e produtividade. Os herbicidas oxyfluorfen e s-metolachlor foram os que causaram menor intoxicação na cultura.

However, the crop knows little about the selectivity of herbicides. The effects of the herbicides flumioxazin, metribuzin, oxyfluorfen, s-metolachlor and sulfentrazone applied in pre-emergence on the development of the sunflower hybrids SNY 034A, Hélio 250 and Tera 860 HO and weed control were evaluated. At 30 days after emergence the intoxication of sunflower plants and weed control were evaluated. In the full bloom of the sunflower were determined booth, height, stem diameter, dry matter area and leaf area of sunflower plants. After the physiological maturation phase, the chapter diameter, yield and oil yield were quantified. When weed control was not achieved, there was a reduction of up to 64.6% in productivity. The herbicides oxyfluorfen, metribuzin and s-metolachlor showed better control of weeds, but metribuzin caused intoxication in the three sunflower cultivars, resulting in reduced growth and productivity.
