Resumo: The article resumes the discussion regarding the changes in the forms of youth participation in the current context of the still ongoing societal transformations in Brazil. In the light of the recent debate on the forms of engagement, militancy and activism, the text resumes the perception of young people from popular and middle classes, at different moments in their life paths (young-teenagers, young-young people, young adults) and with different experiences of participation, their actions in the public sphere, inside and outside the school context, to indicate some clues about/regarding the meanings of political action in contemporary times.

Según el reciente debate sobre las formas de compromiso, militancia y activismos, el texto retoma la percepción de los jóvenes de clase popular y media, en diferentes momentos de la trayectoria de vida (jóvenes-adolescentes, jóvenes-jóvenes, jóvenes adultos) y con diferentes experiencias de participación, sobre sus acciones en la esfera pública, dentro y fuera del contexto escolar, para apuntar indicios sobre los significados de la acción política en la actualidad.O artigo retoma a discussão sobre as mudanças das formas de participação política de jovens no atual contexto de transformações societárias ainda em curso em nosso país.
