Crisis of Liberal Democracy, Neoliberalism and Bodies on the Street in Contemporary Brazil: Reflections about the public policy of cuts in resources to public education and insurgent sparks

Resumo: This article, methodologically counted with bibliographic review, discuss neoliberalism  and the crisis of liberal democracy, taking as object of analysis the decisions concerning budget cuts in public higher education announced by the Federal Executive Power on May 2019. It considers the precariousness of public higher education in Brazil as part of an austerity project that is spreading across the West, and whose scope is the annihilation of democratization, inclusion and participation programs - especially hostile in Latin American territory. Finally, it faces resistances to the process, especially those organized in popular demonstrations by students and teachers, as the powerfull “bodies alliances” that resignify “people” and dispute the “politician” in regression, insurgent sparks in the context of austerities

Para este fin, considera la precariedad de la educación superior pública en Brasil como parte integral de un proyecto de austeridad que se está extendiendo por todo Occidente, y cuyo alcance es la aniquilación de los programas de democratización, inclusión y participación. - especialmente hostil en territorio latinoamericano. Finalmente, enfrenta posibles resistencias al proceso, especialmente aquellas organizadas en manifestaciones populares de estudiantes y maestros, como el poder de las "alianzas de cuerpos" que resignifican a "personas" y disputan el "político" en regresión, chispas insurgentes en el contexto de las austeridades.Esse artigo que, metodologicamente servirá da revisão bibliográfica, se propõe a discutir neoliberalismo e a crise da democracia liberal brasileira, tomando como objeto de análise as decisões pelos cortes na educação superior pública anunciadas pelo Executivo federal a partir de maio de 2019. Para tanto, considera a precarização do ensino superior público, no Brasil, como parte integrante de um projeto de austeridade que se alastra pelo Ocidente, e que tem como escopo o aniquilamento dos programas de democratização, inclusão e participação ”“ especialmente hostis em território latino-americano.
