In this article, we discuss the pandemic’s implications to the Anti-Asylum Fight (LA). For this, we analyze how the present scenario produces more suffering, highlighting the importance of the mental health field and the contributions of LA, also demonstrating how the pandemic argues in favor of LA, reinforcing its foundations, principles, and guidelines, and addressing some of the setbacks of the current Psychiatric Counter-reform during the pandemic itself. We note the intensification of a scenario that, despite arguing in favor of LA, is managed to cool it down, supplanting its historic achievements such as Psychiatric Reform. Precisely for this reason, dialectically, not only the necessity and importance of LA grow, but the rescue of its radicalism and combativeness is intensified.
