The impact of neoconservatism for the LGBTQIA+ population in schools

When thinking about an education system, it’s necessary to contextualize it in political, cultural, historical and social dimensions. The subjectivities that are introduced in schools through the bodies of children and adolescents who are mostly inserted in these spaces announce conditions of existence highlighted in their way of existing/being. It so happens that part of this advertising is suffocated, or even comes out of these bodies, because the hierarchies in schools are plastered and retrograde. That's why, this work seeks to understand the implications of cisheteronormativity in the subjectivities that are forged in schools. Among the specific objectives we highlight a) understanding how cishetenormativity creates the notion of importance around bodies and subjectivity; b) to analyze the constructions on the ideology of gender and the neoconservatism in the themes that concern sexuality; and finally, c) the repression exercised in schools against the bodies that are in this structure. The methodology used is qualitative and relies on bibliographic consultation in theses, dissertations, monographs and scientific articles.
