Resumo: The present work focuses on the selective reaction of the criminal and police systems in relation to travestilities, seeking to understand the discourses that justify and bring to light the scenes of police approach of the transvestites or their arrests in Police stations and prisons, establishing relationships between criminal subjection embodied in travestis’ narratives and the prior discourse of incriminating Police and police media. The Field consisted of vídeos of an intentional sample of the journalistic programs with this theme, and interviews carried out with travestis Who had already been subjected to criminal prohibitions, whether for “blitz” of police or by imprisonment.
