Reflections on critical thinking and ideological inversion of human rights

Resumo: In a synthetic way and from generative questions, this essay makes a brief narrative about some personal requirements (the way of looking and the place from which the subject is looked at or positioned) and intellectual conditions that make it possible to think critically. This is a previous step towards elucidating the criteria for discerning what is assumed to be critical thinking, which is built on some axes or keys with respect to which any thought, action, norm, institution or value must be contrasted. On this basis, a critique is made of this tendency to try to fix once and for all the different historical concretions (norms, institutions, customs, forms of organization etc.), even to decontextualize them, which derives from the pretension of absolutizing the results of (human) action, which is contextual and contingent. At this point the ideological inversion takes place and detecting it constitutes a task of critical thinking (epistemological and ethical-political surveillance), which opens a space for freedom. It is relevant to elucidate the forms and moments in which the ideological inversion of human rights operates.

It is relevant to elucidate the forms and moments in which the ideological inversion of human rights operates.De forma sintética y a partir de preguntas generadoras, en el presente ensayo se hace un recuento breve sobre algunas exigencias personales (el modo de mirar y el lugar desde donde se mira o posiciona el sujeto) y condiciones intelectuales que hacen posible pensar críticamente. Esto es un paso previo para elucidar los criterios de discernimiento de lo que se asume como pensamiento crítico, que se construye sobre algunos ejes o claves respecto de los cuales se ha contrastar cualquier pensamiento, acción, norma, institución o valor. Sobre esta base se hace la crítica de esa tendencia de pretender fijar de una vez y para siempre las diversas concreciones históricas (normas, instituciones, costumbres, formas de organización, etc.), aún a cuenta de descontextualizarlas, la cual deriva en la pretensión de absolutizar los resultados de la acción (humana), que es contextual y contingente. En este punto se produce la inversión ideológica y detectarla se constituye en una tarea del pensamiento crítico (vigilia epistemológica y ético política), lo cual abre un espacio para la libertad. De ahí que resulte relevante elucidar las formas y momentos en que opera la inversión ideológica de los derechos humanos.De forma sintética e a partir de perguntas geradoras, no presente ensaio se faz uma narrativa breve sobre algumas exigências pessoais (o modo de olhar e o lugar desde onde se olha ou posiciona o sujeito) e condições intelectuais que tornam possível pensar criticamente. Isto é um passo prévio para elucidar os critérios de discernimento do que se assume como pensamento crítico, que se constrói sobre alguns eixos ou chaves a respeito dos quais se há de contrastar qualquer pensamento, ação, norma, instituição ou valor. Sobre esta base se faz a crítica dessa tendência de pretender fixar de uma vez e para sempre as diversas concreções históricas (normas, instituições, costumes, formas de organização etc.), ainda de descontextualizá-las, a qual deriva na pretensão de absolutizar os resultados da ação (humana), que é contextual e contingente. Neste ponto se produz a inversión ideológica e detectá-la se constitui em uma tarefa do pensamento crítico (vigilância epistemológica e ético-política), o que abre um espaço para a liberdade.
