Cooperation networks in municipal tourism management: A study in Araguaína-TO

Resumo: The objective of this article was to analyze the tourism planning process in the city of Araguaína-TO, in front of the proposed use of cooperation networks. Regarding the methodology, the qualitative method, the semi-structured interview was used for data collection, and a technique of content analysis in data evaluation. The results pointed out that there is no planning initiative for tourism in Araguaína, however, it is not yet considered the use of cooperation networks. The study was identified as the places of interest, in general, understanding the context of tourism planning in the municipality, but not yet performed a joint work for the development of a tourism activity. It was also verified that most of the interviewees have the interest to work cooperatively in a search for tourism tourism in the locality.

Metodológicamente, el estudio es de carácter cualitativo, la entrevista semiestructurada fue el instrumento de colección utilizado, y la técnica de análisis de contenido ayudó en la apreciación de los datos. Los resultados indicaron que hay una iniciativa de planificación turística en el municipio de Araguaína, sin embargo, esto todavía no sucede para considerar el uso de redes de cooperación. El estudio nos permitió identificar que los actores locales comprenden el contexto inicial de la planificación turística en el município, sin embargo, revelan que todavía no hay trabajo realizado juntos con el fin de desarrollar la actividad turística. Se encontró que la mayoría de los entrevistados tienen interés en trabajar cooperar en cuanto a la búsqueda del desarrollo del turismo en la localidad.O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar como ocorre o processo de planejamento do turismo no município de Araguaína-TO, frente a proposta do uso das redes de cooperação. Metodologicamente, o estudo é de natureza qualitativa, a entrevista semiestruturada foi o instrumento de coleta utilizado, e a técnica análise de conteúdo auxiliou na apreciação dos dados. Os resultados apontaram que existe uma iniciativa de planejamento do turismo no município de Araguaína, entretanto, essa ainda não acontece de forma a considerar o uso de redes de cooperação. O estudo permitiu identificar que os atores locais compreendem o contexto inicial do planejamento do turismo no município, porém revelam que ainda não há um trabalho realizado em conjunto para fins de desenvolver a atividade turística.
