Resumo: This article seeks to analyze the effects of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus, Covid-19, for the events sector, identifying the main difficulties generated and the possible solutions implemented by the sector's producers, with the analysis focus in the territory of the Brazilian Federal District. The methodological approach was designed from a qualitative research, exploratory type, using the technique of bibliographic research and application of forms. It was possible to perceive by the research the difficulties generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, such as the restriction of the movement of people, the mandatory use of mask and the distribution of sanitizer, which imposed the producers and event managers to adapt to the new reality.

El enfoque metodológico se diseñó a partir de una investigación cualitativa, de tipo exploratoria, utilizando la técnica de investigación bibliográfica y aplicación de formularios. Se pudo percibir con la investigación las dificultades generadas por la pandemia del Covid-19, como la restricción del movimiento de personas, el uso obligatorio de mascarilla y la distribución de alcohol en gel, que obligó a los productores y organizadores de eventos a adaptarse a la nueva realidad.  O presente artigo busca analisar os efeitos da pandemia causada pelo novo coronavírus, a Covid-19, para o setor de eventos identificando as principais dificuldades geradas e as possíveis soluções implementadas pelos produtores do setor, com o recorte de análise no território do Distrito Federal brasileiro. O percurso metodológico foi pensado a partir de uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo, do tipo exploratório, tendo como técnica a pesquisa bibliográfica e aplicação de formulários.
