The objective was to conduct anintegrative review of articles producedby nurses on the Nursing Care Systemfrom 2006 to March 2012, aiming tounderstand how nursing contributes tothe improvement of this tool. It was anintegrative review of a descriptivecharacter. We carried out a search forarticles that addressed the issue ofSystematization of Nursing in databasesLILACS, MEDLINE and BDENFSystem Bireme through search term"nursing process" and have beenpublished in the range of 2006 to March2012, identifying 105 articles so, butamong these only 31 were selected foranalysis because they had in theircontent proposals for the improvementof the Systematization of Nursing. Itcan be inferred that the production ofnurses in the Nursing CareSystematization is still low, animportant factor since this is animportant tool for planning andorganization of care. The studyidentified a scientific still growing andencountered situations and experiences,which the organizing tool of health carewas applied.Sugestão: The objective of this studywas to conduct an integrative review ofdescriptive nature of nurses’ productionon Nursing Care System as tounderstand how nursing contributes tothe improvement of such tool. Thesearch involved papers covering thetopic Nursing Systematization in thedatabases LILACS, MEDLINE andBDENF in Bireme System by means ofthe search of the term 'nursing process',published within the period 2006 toMarch 2012. A total of 105 articleswere identified, of which 31 wereselected for analysis, since theycontained proposals for theimprovement of the Nursing CareSystematization. It is possible to inferthat nursing academic productionaddressed to Nursing CareSystematization is still considered low,an important factor since thisproduction is a crucial tool for planningand organization of care. It is also tonote that the study has detected thatscientific production is not onlygrowing but also facing situations andexperiences to which healthorganization has being applied.Key words: Nursing Research; NursingCare; Nursing Process.
