The Decorative Arts of Yesterday: Le Corbusier´s design tactics and concepts in its purist phase

Resumo: | Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, better known as Le Corbusier, developed and presented his very particular understanding of the build environment, from the interior of the home to the metropolis, in texts, sketches, models, projects and built works. In his very characteristic formulation of the Synthesis of the Arts, Corbusier refounded and redistributed the attributes of each area, each art, each discipline: Sculpture, Painting, Architecture, among others. In the relationship between Furniture and Architecture, if there was modern, functional furniture using new technologies and industrial possibilities, in Corbusier's work architecture absorbed many of the its functions, equipping the interior and open areas, increasingly and assuming hybrid and intermediate forms, in addition to the listed types described in the architect's texts. The paper shows strategies during the 1920s, within the poetics of Purism, which he developed with his friend, the painter Amédée Ozenfant. |

En su muy característica formulación de la Síntesis de las Artes, Corbusier refunda y redistribuye los atributos de cada área, cada arte, cada disciplina: la Escultura, la Pintura, la Arquitectura, entre otras. En la relación entre Mobiliario y Arquitectura, si hubo mobiliario moderno, funcional y utilizando las nuevas tecnologías y posibilidades industriales, en la obra de Corbusier la arquitectura absorbió muchas de las funciones del mobiliario tradicional, equipando el interior y los espacios abiertos, cada vez más y asumiendo híbridos e intermedios. formas, además de los tipos enumerados descritos en los textos del arquitecto. El artículo aborda este tipo de estrategias durante la década de 1920, dentro de la poética del Purismo, que desarrolló junto a su amigo, el pintor Amédée Ozenfant.Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, mais conhecido como Le Corbusier, desenvolveu e apresentou sua compreensão muito particular do ambiente construído, do interior do lar à metrópole, em textos, croquis, maquetes, projetos e obras construídas. Na sua formulação muito característica da Síntese das Artes, Corbusier refundia e redistribuía os atributos de cada área, cada arte, cada disciplina: com a Escultura, com a Pintura, com a Arquitetura, entre outras. Na relação entre Mobiliário e Arquitetura, se havia um mobiliário moderno, funcional e usando as novas tecnologias e possibilidades industriais, na obra de Corbusier a arquitetura absorvia muitas das funções do mobiliário tradicional, equipando o interior e as áreas abertas, de modo crescente e assumindo formas híbridas e intermediárias, para além dos tipos elencados descritos nos textos do arquiteto.
