Resumo: This project intends to identify the contribution of the vegetation on urban microclimates. The "Superquadra 108 Sul" of Brasilia's "Plano Pilo-to" was taken to illustrate this project's main goal due to its pleasant environment, which clearly represents the original concept of "superquadra" created by Lucia Costa. Three significant areas of vegetation distribution were analyzed within the surrounding vicinity, each with increasingly green area percentages, considering horizontal surfaces, and vegetation in order to analyze its effects on superficial temperature of materials_ The analysis was completed on two significant periods of Brasilia's climate, the dry season (May through September) and the rainy season (October through March), by means of field mea-surements and computational simulation on the ENVI-met tridimensional model which simulates urban microclimates. The research showed that the vegetation had major impact on urban micro-climates regarding the attenuation of superficial temperature diminishing it, in some materials, from 52.84° C to 28.74° C. It could also be con-cluded that lawn alone, does not result in signifi-cant improvement on urban environment com-fort during the dry season.

Para tanto utiliza o exemplo da Superquadra 108 sul do Plano Piloto de Brasília, que possui elevada ambiência de agradabilidade e conforto e representa exemplo acabado do conceito original de superquadra criado por Lúcio Costa. Foram analisados dentro deste espaço, três pontos representativos da distribuição da vegetação, com gradação crescente de porcentagem de áreas verdes, considerando a superfície dos materiais. A análise foi realizada em doisperíodos representativos para o clima de de Brasília, o período da seca (maio a setembro) e o período chuviso (outubro a março), por meio de medições em campo e simulações computacionais com o programa ENVI-met, modelo tridimensional que simula microclimas urbanos. Pelos dados encontrados, foi possível constatar a importância da arborização na amenização dos microclimas urbanosao diminuir de 52.84ºC para 28.74ºC a temperatura superficial de determinados materiais.
