Resumo: Two precious collections of architectural drawings and glass negatives reveals the city of São Paulo in the process of writing and rewriting over time. This article deals with the heuristic potential of the Particular Works Series and the Ramos de Azevedo, Severo & Villares Fund of the Municipal Archive, in parallel with the collection of drawings and glass negatives from the same office at the FAUUSP Library. Indirectly, it deals with the challenges of digitizing and computerizing architectural collections in Brazil, revealing the imperative need for extroversion and democratization of such collections in order to renew the view on the History of Urbanization and Architecture in cities.
