Ela tem por finalidade apresentar a discrepância da representação feminina versus a masculina na política, focando no cargo de Deputado Distrital no Distrito Federal. Para maior entendimento do assunto foi estudado o contexto histórico da luta feminina no Brasil e no mundo. Foi analisado também, de forma quantitativa, a presença de mulheres e homens nas como candidatos nas eleições de 2014 e 2018 para Deputado Distrital no Distrito Federal e quantos destes foram eleitos. It aims to present the discrepancy of female versus male representation in politics, focusing on the position of Deputy District in the Federal District. For a better understanding of the subject, we studied the historical context of women's struggle in Brazil and in the world. It was also analyzed, in a quantitative way, the presence of women and men as candidates in the 2014 and 2018 elections for District Deputy in the Federal District and how many of these were elected.
