Nesta monografia, o objetivo geral é analisar as percepções sobre tais usos e abusos entre estudantes e docentes da Faculdade de Comunicação da Universidade de Brasília, bem como estratégias e pactos para lidar com esse dispositivo, com ganhos para o ensino-aprendizagem. O método utilizado foi o dialético, e a pesquisa, de caráter exploratório, foi realizada por meio de entrevistas e questionários. Os resultados confirmam o que já havia sido apontado pelas leituras precedentes: muitos estudantes o utilizam para apoiar as aulas, ao pesquisarem conteúdo e interagirem com os colegas e docentes, mas a incorporação de seu uso didático pelos docentes, embora defendida, ainda não se materializa; acredita-se que ele provoque muita dispersão; a proibição é contestada, seja por sua eficiência, necessidade ou viabilidade; é necessário pensar a aula como uma construção coletiva, de responsabilidade de alunos e professores. Por fim, os resultados apontam para novas perguntas: como os celulares remodelam nossa atenção? In this monograph, the general objective is to analyze the perceptions of such use and abuse among students and faculty of the School of Communication at the University of Brasilia, as well as strategies and agreements to deal with this device, with gains for teaching and learning. The method was dialectical, and the research, exploratory, and they were performed through interviews and questionnaires. The results confirm what had already been pointed out by previous readings: many students use it to support the lessons, to search for content and interact with fellow students and professors, but to incorporate its didactic use by teachers, although defended, it’s not being materialized yet; it is believed that it causes much dispersion; the ban is challenged, either by its efficiency, necessity or viability; It is necessary to think of the class as a collective construction, a responsibility of students and teachers. Finally, the results point to new questions: how cell phones remodel our attention?
