Partindo do nexo entre a violência e o poder soberano na produção de vida desqualificada sob a perspectiva da perda dos direitos fundamentais do cidadão, seguiu-se na discussão sobre a política contemporânea, advinda da tradição grega, implicando em uma relação entre a vida e o soberano, sendo este o único capaz de apresentar a forma legal de algo que não pode ser legal. Neste ínterim, a investigação dos conceitos mostrou-se importante para elucidar as concepções de que o Estado de exceção é um Estado ilegal. Starting from the nexus between violence and sovereign power in the production of life disqualified from the perspective of the loss of the fundamental rights of the citizen, it was followed in the discussion on the contemporary politics, coming from the Greek tradition, implying in a relation between the life and the sovereign, being the only one able to present the legal form of something that can not be legal. In the meantime, the investigation of concepts has proved important to elucidate the conceptions that the State of exception is an illegal state.
