As bases teóricasse fundamentamno diálogo com autores como Oliveira (2001), Reck (2007), Bogo (2008), Caldart (2004), Pistrack (2000) e Arroyo (1999). A pesquisa é subsidiada por entrevistas informais e individuais feitas com jovens e adultos pertencentes à comunidade escolar e evadidos do EJA, e com os coordenadores e corpo docente da EscolaMunicipal do Campo Jorge Carlos Ferreira. O intuito foiverificar a ocorrência e os motivos da evasão escolar desses jovens e adultos, sua relação com a escola e os educadores, e compreender os motivos pelos quais os alunos não deram continuidadeaoaprendizadodurante a vida escolar e relacionar suas necessidades à metodologia já existente. Os resultados referentes à investigação dos motivos que levam à evasão dos alunos inseridos naEducação de Jovens e Adultos foram alcançados de forma satisfatória, com a contribuição dos autores dialogados e comunidade, sendo que as principais motivações apresentadas foram o desestímulo e o excesso de trabalho no campo. __________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThe present work presents a survey and analysis of data to the Rural Education from the case study in Pontal do Marape settlement, located in the Municipality of Nova Mutum, MatoGrosso. The theoretical foundation is based on dialogue with authors like Oliveira (2001), Reck (2007), Bogo (2008), Caldart (2004), Pistrack (2000)and Arroyo (1999).
